“UNDULATION”

Lisa Hemeon is a Toronto-based artist recognized for her captivating compositions that emanate expressive movement, evocative
atmosphere and dynamic energy. Within each painting a theme of ‘undulation’ emerges, symbolizing the qualities of shifting surfaces and the inherent ebb and flow that resonate within us.

Guided by intuition and introspection, Hemeon fosters an intimate connection with the alluring beauty of coastal surroundings. Through her artistic journey, Hemeon harnesses the essence of her emotions and cherished memories, translating them into a visual dialogue that engages with the artist, environment and audience.

Drawing inspiration from the elemental forces of nature, Hemeon’s paintings serve as mesmerizing reflections of the ephemeral qualities that surround us. Hemeon states that “The enigmatic essence of our coastal milieus captivate my spirit, providing me with a means to
convey profound connections I feel.”

Hemeon grew up on the BC coast and has exhibited her work in Toronto since 2002. Her works have gained recognition through
international publications such as British VOGUE & World of Interiors gallery pages and the London Lux.
